Prof. Andrew Rohl iVEC CEO

Andrew is a leading expert in the application of high performance computing and computer simulation technologies with more than 100 published papers. He has a DPhil from the University of Oxford and undertook post-doctoral studies at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, where he used supercomputers to solve important problems for the oil industry. Returning to Perth in 1996, he continued using HPC to solve problems of industrial relevance through the Nanochemistry Research Institute and the AJ Parker CRC for Hydrometallurgy. He is a Curtin University employee, seconded full-time to direct iVEC’s activities. He is also
the deputy chair of the Australian Research Collaboration Service (ARCS) Executive Committee.
