Where should you start your advanced computing journey?

iVEC Education


Training : iVEC offers introductory sessions, online courses, short courses and workshops in a variety of areas. These course run throughout the year. For research groups, in-house, tailored training can be arranged

Projects and Internships : Students are welcome to request access to iVEC for project throughout the year. Paid research internships are available to undergraduate students at third year or above.

The iVEC Education Program aims to promote the use of advanced computing through the education sector in WA, and to provide relevant training.

The program has four main goals:

  • Identify needs and develop education programs
  • Encourage the use of advanced computing and eResearch
  • Run the iVEC internship program
  • Raise awareness of advanced computing
