iVEC, the hub of advanced computing in WA, is searching for students who are ready to challenge themselves through our student internship program. We will give you access to high performance computing, visualisation and rendering facilities, large-scale data storage and high speed communications.
Applications are welcome from all fields and disciplines including:
art, digital content, visualisation and rendering,
social science, health, humanities, business
as well as
computational science, engineering, geology, geophysics,
chemistry, physics, astronomy, bioinformatics
Internships run for approximately 10 weeks during the period December through February, although dates and exact length of the internship are negotiable. The award is for up to $6,000 per student (tax free), dependent on the length of the project.
Project Proposals for 2010/2011 are due 13th August
Student Applications for 2010/2011 are due in September
