iVEC welcomes visits by university, research, school, industry and government groups. We can also provide work experience placement for students.
A visit to iVEC is an effective way to gain a high-level understanding of eResearch and the possibilities offered by advanced computing. We are also able to come to your organisation or group to present on what iVEC does and what we can offer.
A typical visit to the ARRC facility (Technology Park) includes:
- Introduction to iVEC
- Demonstration of visualisation techniques, including stereo 3-D
- Tour of ARRC facility
- Morning/afternoon tea and discussion time
