iVEC offers a variety of services to industry and government which leverage the expertise and infrastructure obtained through servicing iVEC's members.
The Small Business Technical Assistance Scheme is a competitive grants scheme that awards access to iVEC's infrastructure and/or experts. The scheme aims to improve workflows within those businesses, or improve products for their clients by using advanced computing methods.
iVEC offers commercial consulting services to provide a vendor-independent analysis of how your business may benefit from modelling and advanced computing. This may include requirements gathering, literature review, solutions survey, benchmarking, and cost-benefit analysis.
The training courses that iVEC regularly gives to academia are available to industry and government. If more than a few people from your organisation would like to receive training, we recommend that we give a separate tailored course at your premises.
Free access to iVEC resources for fixed-term uptake projects is available all year round, subject to availability. It is a requirement of these projects that they will transform a part of your organisation in regards to advanced computing. Examples may include improved collaboration practises, using parallel computing to obtain results faster or more accurately, or using queueing systems to use idle resources at night.
