At the heart of the global eResearch initiative is the need for enhanced collaboration. Researchers in different geographical regions need to be able to communicate effectively and share data in order to further their reserach outcomes.

iVEC is at the cutting edge of collaboration services, providing a range of services for person-to-person communication, broadcast communication as well as data sharing.

For simple video conferencing needs we strongly recommend the ARCS service EVO. EVO provides a video conferencing tool that can support meetings with multiple users, and is free for Australian researchers.

Our access grids allow for large scale video conferencing. We have one located at each of our Facilities.
